It is the second time that the prestigious Sustainable Brands conference is held in Copenhagen, reaffirming the city's position as one of the leading destinations for sustainability and CSR related events.

Sustainable Brands is a leading global provider of CSR conferences and has a strong community of global brands such as Coca Cola, Siemens, IKEA, Unilever and Novo Nordisk. Titled 'Redefining the Good Life', this year's Copenhagen conference will focus on the emergence of today's pressing social and environmental challenges and how it is stirring global business and brand leaders to drive positive change. The conference, staged at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia, is expected to attract around 500 sustainable business leaders from around the world.

With the new Responsible Business Events conference, the organisers are aiming at providing meeting planners and agencies with the right tools and strategic know-how to think and act sustainable in order to support and activate a company's or client's CSR strategy. The conference will feature leading experts within the field such as United Nations Development Programme, MCI Sustainability Group, Unilever Food Solutions, Carlson Rezidor and BC Hospitality Group.

Allan L. Agerholm, CEO of BC Hospitality Group comments:

"We look very much forward to take active part in the Responsbile Business Events conference and welcome the new initiative. We take our point of departure in a tailor-made 'Responsible Hospitality' concept, that ensures a strategic and holistic approach to sustainable solutions to the benefit of not only our own business, but also society and the environment, and we're always keen on knowledge sharing with a wider audience and to take part in inspirational conferences on the topic."

Having already established itself as one of the world's most sustainable and livable cities, Copenhagen is well placed to host conferences such as Sustainable Brands and Responsible Business Events. Almost 70 % of hotel rooms in Copenhagen are eco certified while many suppliers in the city's meeting industry have adopted green and sustainable initiatives. Furthermore, the city continues to make significant investments in sustainable city solutions, attracting worldwide attention when it announced its ambition to become the first carbon neutral capital by 2025.
