'Home Concerts by The Royal Suite' will kick off at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel's Royal Suite for the first time on April 11 at 8pm and the concert, with an audience of maximum 40 persons sold out within just a few hours. The idea behind the collaboration is to experience handpicked professional music artists in a unique intimate frame - in this instance The Royal Suite at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel - and thereby to offer new types of experiences at the hotel to the benefit of both locals and international visitors. It also contributes to highlighting the hotel as an open and friendly 5-star venue on Copenhagen's scenic waterfront with lots of opportunities and entertainment.

Less is more

'Home Concerts by The Royal Suite' will take place in close collaboration with the Danish singer, songwriter and record producer, Camille Jones, and Morten Jensen, Group Marketing Director at BC Hospitality Group, who operates the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel, says about the collaboration:

"With this collaboration we are looking at transformational experiences and what it takes to trigger the memory of great experiences. We know that people seek unique and intimate experiences where 'Less is more' and the 'Home Concert by The Royal Suite' concept is one such example with excellent musicians performing in small spaces with room for some 30-40 persons in special settings - and here the setting just happens to be our freshly renovated deluxe suite located on the scenic waterfront of the Danish capital."

"With 'Home Concerts by The Royal Suite' we are able to showcase both Copenhagen Marriott Hotel's classic and new facilities in new ways with a much more local and authentic feel. Thus, we are creating an occasion for people to meet in new, unusual intimate settings to experience, in this instance, magical evening concerts, and this fits like a glove with what we aim for namely to be 'Hosting Moments That Matter'," Mr. Jensen adds.

In February 2018, Copenhagen Marriott Hotel also participated actively in the city's cultural scene during the city's first ever 'Copenhagen Light Festival'. Here the hotel supported the acclaimed light installation 'Eternal Sundown' created by the designed by the talented Danish light artist Mads Vegas, and set up on the quayside right outside the hotel. The festival was just another good example of how both locals and guests of the hotel were handed an opportunity to enjoy a local cultural event, that could give rise to new conversations in new informal settings, and the hotel plans to take part in more similar collaborations and pop-up events with extraordinary partners in future too.
